I was just curious if someone could tell me if I could put an auto-refresh on my website. E.g. After 30 seconds of not changing pages or clicking on the site it automatically refreshes itself. Thank you

Did you want this on all your pages or just one ?

If you navigate to your Admin Panel > Themes and Layouts > Modify Template

Within this page you can select either all your pages and/or selective pages from your website.

In the editor box find the section that looks like this:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="60">

<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
<title>{#title#}</title>

In the <meta> tag you need to add the following:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="60">

replacing the above.

Now this works normally however i'm not sure if this works in the iCLan websites i need James to confirm it

I just changed the meta to <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="60"> and it doesnt seem to be working. Now I take it the 60 is for refreshing every 60 seconds? Let me know if there is another way since it doesnt seem to be working. Thank you

Now since ive changed it, I was trying to message people and i took more then 60 seconds and it keeps erasing everything when it refreshes. Is there a way it can refresh without deleting written messages like that?

the website already has an auto-refresh function updating the activity feed and the chatbox.

is there a particular function in which you were requiring an additional refresh for??
