Hi i want to add my own domain name, but without delegating my DNS to your service. My domain is used for other services than iClan and i would prefer to maintain it myself.

I can resolve our current IP address so setting up an A record is fine, but if you would prefer i can setup a CNAME to follow any changes you make in future.

You have to setup again your domain name using iClan Website's DNS.

This is a mandatory action and must need to use iClan Website's DNS in order for your website to have no problems as we can maintain it whenever there are uncertain problems.

Yeah sorry, im not giving you control over my DNS. So youre saying that the only way that you will allow a custom domain is to give you full control over a DNS domain? 

Btw that link you sent me to says "Recommend" not mandatory.

"We recommend you use our DNS servers, so we can manage your records for you."

Yes, we do recommend it, but its somehow mandatory if you don't want to have problems with your website.

Ok so can you explain to me how to setup our site with a custom domain without switching DNS over to you. 

I'll waive any right to bitch/complain/rant if for any reason this causes me problems later on and you can happily remind me of this.
