out of interest is your DNS managed by iclan?
I know why im getting the error message, i can take a reasonable guess how it happened.
The A or CNAME record that resolves my website no longer exists. Thats why. A simple ping or nslookup proves that.
Im guessing that they either got hacked and lost a bunch of zones and are trying to rebuild them. Or they did some maintenance on their DNS and cocked it up, maybe upgraded and forgot to restore the zone files. Either way they've got a problem with DNS.
Earlier this year they told me that "we changed our DNS provider because they got hacked, we've tried to contact you several times to discuss migrating". Complete crap. Then they said they i opted out of emails (i only opted out of the newsletter because hey guess what i get emails from my members) and thats why i hadnt been told.
But hey im going to be told that this is my problem again, because they can do no wrong......
