Mandatory custom profile fields?

Hi all,
I have created a custom profile field, that is also shown on registration.
But is it somehow possible to make that field mandatory to fill out?

This isn't possible as of the moment, but I have already added this to our feature request list and it will be carefully considered on our next development.
