At random times throughout today out site has been slow to load and hanging for several members, some members reported they kept getting

 "Technical Error.

We're either performing an update or we've crashed. Come back in a few minutes!"

i myself havent received this messege but have noticed our site http://www.tsr-clan.co.uk is running much slower then normal, if someone could look into it that would be great.

Thanks
Simo

There is slowness, the networking guys in the data centre are investigating the cause. With regards to the technical errors, are there any specific pages that generate them?

Still looking into this. There appears to be connection problems between our app server and proxy, just working with two different providers now to close the loop.

We should be back to full speed very soon.

We're working on routing traffic through different transits. The CDN has been turned back on which has made things faster a little. I'm pressing very hard on the data centre to have this resolved.

Normal speeds have returned, will continue to monitor the situation. The problem was caused by connectivity issues between Michigan and New York. The maximum download speed has been increased too, so you should be able to download at incredibly fast speeds if you have a good connection. There isn't any cap in place.

Hopefully that's the end of it, but will post here if anything crops up.

Until next time.

I know this is late, but I noticed when I try to upload a large profile picture it gives me the technical error message that was spoken about above.
